“I have enjoyed getting to know the highly qualified physicians, employees and volunteers over the past couple of months and look forward to continuing our work together,” Sisson said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to support their dedication to providing high quality care for our patients and the Batesville community.”
Sisson was previously Chief Operating Officer and Facility Compliance Officer at Wesley Medical Center, a 211-bed hospital in Hattiesburg, where he also served as interim CEO. During his time there, he contributed to hospital’s achievement of Top Performer on Key Quality Measures from the Joint Commission for two consecutive years as well as Heart Failure and Chest Pain accreditation. He also oversaw efforts to reach the organization’s highest employee satisfaction scores.

Sisson’s prior appointments include COO of NorthShore Regional Medical Center in Slidell, Louisiana, and Assistance Vice President of Operations at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Sisson holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
