BATESVILLE, Miss., June 8, 2015 – Tiffanie Johnson has joined Merit Health Batesville as Market Director, Practice Management. Johnson comes to Merit Health Batesville from Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX where she served as the Manager of Operations and Surgery.  Johnson has hometown roots with grandparents from Sardis and Como.

In this new position, Johnson will be responsible for the physician clinic operations for the Merit Health Batesville and the Merit Health Northwest Mississippi hospitals.

Johnson has served in leadership and management roles throughout most of her career in healthcare.  Among her many awards and recognitions she has served on the American College of Healthcare Executives as well as the National Association of Healthcare Executives. She holds a bachelor’s degree with academic honors and a Masters of Healthcare Administration from Prairie View A&M University.

Merit Health Batesville is a 112-bed acute care hospital located in Batesville, Mississippi.
