BATESVILLE, Miss. (August 6, 2015) – Merit Health Batesville has announced Elizabeth Barry will now serve the hospital as Director of Health Informatics and Information Management and Privacy Officer.

Barry will be responsible for the patient health information and clinical documentation for Merit Health Batesville as well as the leader to provide timely and quality services to patients, families, other health care organizations, hospital medical staff and Administration.

Barry is a graduate of Colorado Technical University’s MBA Program and has obtained professional training and certification for National Board Certification in Cancer Registry and Project Management, Health Information Management and Six Sigma Training.  She worked at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis as the Director of Health Information Management as well as Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
