The Mississippi Department of Transportation and the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department are hosting four identical public meetings to gather comments on five proposed enhanced highway corridors connecting I-55 in Batesville, Mississippi and I-40 in either Brinkley or Forrest City, Arkansas. During the open-house meetings, citizens may review the projected traffic volumes, potential environmental impacts, possible alignments, estimated costs, and economic impacts for each proposed alternative.
Your opinions, as well as the concerns and needs of your associates, constituents, neighbors, and friends, are very important to the information-gathering process.
