Tri-Star won in the mechanical category for their work on the University of Mississippi Central Mechanical Plant in Oxford.

Carothers Construction of Taylor was also among area contractors recognized at the banquet.
Carothers won in the out-of-state governmental category for their work on the Special Operations Command Central Commandant and Cultural Engagement Group at the MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. Carothers also won in the Aviation Components Maintenance Facility at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
Orocon-Carothers JV1 won in the out-of-state industrial category for their work on the Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility in Millington, Tennessee.
The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Inc. is a national, non-profit construction trade association. It is the only association of its kind that unites and serves all building trades. The Mississippi Chapter was granted its charter in 1973 at the request of contractors in the state who agreed with the merit shop philosophy which ABC promotes.
