38th Annual Charity Ball Set For March 24
“A Night of Southern Charm” to benefit Junior Auxiliary of Batesville
The Junior Auxiliary of Batesville is selling tickets for the 38th Annual Charity Ball on Saturday, March 24 at the Batesville Civic Center. This year’s theme is “A Night of Southern Charm” and tickets can be purchased from the Civic Center Box Office or through any JA member. They are $55 each, $100 for a couple and $65 at the door.
The evening will begin with the presentation of the 2012 Charity Ball Court and announcement of Charity Ball King and Queen at 6:30 p.m. Guests will be treated to hor d’oeuvres and refreshments, a live and silent auction throughout the evening and music from Memphis party band New Era.
Beginning March 5, JA members will be selling $5 raffle tickets for a chance to win a Remington 700 Model Bolt Action 7mm Youth Rifle. The winner will be drawn at Charity Ball following the live auction.
“Charity Ball is by far the biggest fundraiser of the year for Junior Auxiliary,” said President Cortney Cox. “Through ticket sales, sponsorships, donations and auctions at Charity Ball, we are able to sustain the numerous programs provided to Batesville children by JA each year.”
The Junior Auxiliary of Batesville is a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of underprivileged children in Panola County through an array of service programs. Among these programs are Adopt-A-Family, Imagination Library, Prom Closet, Stuff The Bus, Packs of Love, Reading is Fundamental, Angel Trees, Healthy Kids Camp, JA Undergraduate Scholarships and many, many more.
Charity Ball is dependent on community support through donation of auction merchandise, business sponsorships, ticket sales and individual contributions. Businesses interested in sponsorships or auction donations can contact Haley Wilson, Finance Co-Chairman at (662) 934-7675 or e-mail .
